Job overview
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and dynamic Teacher of Law to oversee the delivery of both Law and Politics courses in our Sixth Form.
The position is part-time and the hours are dependent on the number of students taking the subject in Years 12 and 13. This is reviewed on an annual basis and for 2019-20 will be 0.7FTE.
Law is a popular subject at Hutton Sixth Form and many of our students achieve excellent results and go on to pursue Law at university. The subject is established as a successful and strong feature of our Sixth Form provision and we are looking for someone who can continue to build on this.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for A Level Politics. An ability to teach this subject would be an advantage but applications will also be considered from colleagues who have not taught the subject but would be willing to undergo training to deliver this in future years.
Applications are welcomed from both newly qualified and more experienced colleagues.
