Purpose of the post:

This is a very exciting time for us and we are now looking to appoint a Subject Leader for Geography to lead this key area of the School. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to help shape and build on our vision and our ethos.   

Do you have engaging ideas for the exciting teaching and learning of Geography? 

What is your vision for the relevance of Geography in the world today?

  • You will be an excellent practitioner, able to lead our teaching and learning and our quality and professional development systems by example, and to manage with confidence all areas of organisational development. 
  • You will be confident in being an ambassador for the school and passionate about driving a curriculum and educational provision that is demanding yet inclusive.

Co-op Academy Priesthorpe is a 'Good' school in Leeds (Ofsted, 2024) with Outstanding features. It is an 11-18 Academy with a Sixth Form and an intake of over 1000 students and around 135 staff. Originally a co-operative foundation school and part of the Leeds Co-operative School’s Network, they joined the Co-operative Academies Trust in July 2017.
