Le Rocquier School is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to teach ICT within its forward-thinking Technical Skills Faculty commencing January 2019.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational, driven and enthusiastic ICT teacher to become part of a tight team within the faculty. The successful candidate will be able to teach ICT at GCSE and KS3 levels to all ability levels. They will be able to encourage students to fulfil the raised expectations of this dynamic faculty. They should be keen to promote high standards across the school, while recognising the importance of developing diversity and equality across the whole subject area. They will be responsible for leading the team of ICT teachers to their full potential. Further supplementary allowances will be awarded for suitably experienced candidates for the responsibility of whole school IT strategy.

About Le Rocquier School
Opened in 2006, Le Rocquier School is a successful and flourishing co-educational, non-denominational 11-16 School in the Bailiwick of Jersey with outstanding facilities. The island of Jersey is a crown dependency of the United Kingdom, and situated in the English Channel. There are approximately 800 students on the school roll, along with 60 teaching staff and 50 support staff. Our inclusive school is located in the Saint Clement parish, which is located on the island’s southern coast and has a population of around 10,000.
In 2022 80% of our GCSE subjects added value at GCSE. Maths, English, Science and many, many others all exceeded expectation (adding value).
In our community we challenge ourselves and each other to be the best we can through our 'Vision in Action' strategies and our rewards system. We nurture individuality and creativity through inspirational and challenging teaching, high expectations and aspirational goals. Our school belongs to all of our community through our shared aspiration to develop individuals who are prepared and equipped to contribute to society in a positive and sustainable way, wherever in the world that is.
