The successful candidate will be an outstanding Teacher. Media is a popular subject at Kingsmead and is taught at Key Stage 4 (BTEC Level 2) and Key Stage 5 (BTEC Level 3) and the successful candidate will teach both key stages. Media studies sits in the English curriculum area and the successful candidate will lead the development of Media studies and also teach English to GCSE level. The English department continues to grow from strength to strength, facing the challenges of a new national curriculum and examination system head on. You will have the opportunity to teach the full age and ability range and make a real contribution to this well-resourced and forward-thinking curriculum area This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
