ª We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Head of MFL with the ability to teach French up to KS5 at our College.

ª Caedmon College Whitby has an age range of 11 – 19 and operates over two sites (the Normanby Site and the Scoresby Site) which are in close proximity.

ª We serve a diverse and beautiful, rural and coastal area, centred on the historic seaport of Whitby, surrounded by the North York Moors.

ª This vacancy offers an exciting opportunity for an innovative and committed team member who drives students' enthusiasm, experience and achievement.

ª The successful candidate will be a committed and creative practitioner, willing to further contribute to the progress of our students in a forward looking and highly successful department.

ª New members of staff receive a comprehensive induction programme, and staff development is a priority at the College.

OFSTED have recently visited us and yet again we have been graded as GOOD. Why don’t you consider joining us on our journey to becoming an OUTSTANDING School.

We only interview those who fit the bill and if you do, we will invest in you.

Please apply using the teaching application form (available from the College website – www.ccwhitby.co.uk) to j.robinson@ccwhitby.org and include a covering letter with your application, showing how your previous training and experience has prepared you effectively for this post.  Please explain how you would expect to contribute to the success of the department and to the College as a whole.

It will be most helpful if you can include day time contact details for yourself and your referees and email addresses where available.
