We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic historian to lead a well-established history programme. The successful candidate will be expected to promote the study and enjoyment of the subject throughout the Senior School (Years 7 – 13). History at Stonar is a thriving subject. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified teacher to join a successful Humanities Department working with enthusiastic and positive pupils.

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake the responsibility of a form tutor. All teachers are expected to be fully committed to the life of our busy boarding school.

Stonar is one of the UK’s leading day and boarding schools for pupils aged 2 – 18. The Senior School is currently co-educational to Year 8, with further co-ed intake into Years 9 and 12 in September 2017. The school will be fully co-educational by 2019. The school is situated in over 80 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet only a 20 minute drive from the World Heritage City of Bath, yet within easy reach of the M4 corridor.
