The Liverpool Joint Catholic and Church of England Academies Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust jointly sponsored by the Archdiocese of Liverpool and the Diocese of Liverpool and incorporates The Academy of St Francis of Assisi and Enterprise South Liverpool Academy.   

Both The Academy of St Francis of Assisi and Enterprise South Liverpool Academy are joint faith 11-18 Academies with Christian Values at their heart. Both Academies are fortunate to occupy modern and unique buildings which inspire both staff and students.    

The Trust places an absolute emphasis on the professional development of its staff, the objective being that each individual will have a clear route of progression within the Trust. Through innovative training programmes, staff will be able to gain valuable and varied experience to support their professional development.

In order to meet these objectives, the Trust is looking for an outstanding Subject Leader of ICT to take up the post at The Academy of St Francis of Assisi. The  Subject Leader of ICT will be responsible for leading the ICT department within The Academy of St Francis of Assisi to secure outstanding outcomes for students.  The successful candidate should:  

· be committed to the Christian ethos of the Trust; 

· able to demonstrate outstanding leadership in raising standards in teaching & learning

· have a record of promoting and supporting rapid gains in learning outcomes and rates of progress for all student groups

· passionate about making the difference for young people in the city of Liverpool.

The Academy of St Francis of Assisi is an 11 – 16 Academy with900 students on role.  It is a joint foundation of the Anglican and Catholic Dioceses of Liverpool and is situated in the grounds of Newsham Park in Kensington, Liverpool.
