Subject Leader of ICT

York High School is seeking to appoint an inspiring Subject Leader of ICT who will motivate and challenge all of our students.

The successful candidate will

·      Be an ‘outstanding’ classroom teacher or have the potential to become one.

·      Demonstrate strong subject knowledge of the curricular area.

·      Show concern for young people and their families.

·     Be able to self-evaluate and reflect on their own practice in order to improve and develop.

Interviews will be held during the week commencing 20 February 2023.

York High is a mixed 11–16 school serving a genuinely comprehensive intake. The last 4 years have seen rapid and sustained change with the school earning a ‘good’ judgement from Ofsted in September 2022. You would be joining a school with a commitment to excellent pastoral care and to maximising the potential of all of our students.
