At this exciting time for the school, we are looking to appoint someone who has the right personal skills, energy, enthusiasm and ambition to lead the mathematics department at Cockburn John Charles Academy into the future. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of ensuring outstanding student achievement and have the ability to lead others as a team.

You will also have the leadership experience and the ability to challenge individuals within your team whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results. We are committed to delivering the best possible mathematics curriculum and the Subject Leader of Mathematics will be working strategically with the Director of Mathematics within the MAT.

We are a MAT that believes in unlocking potential in both students and staff and as a result offer leadership development opportunities and training for colleagues within and beyond the MAT.
