
Subject Leader of Vocational Business

Barton Peveril is a vibrant and innovative sixth form college and this is an exciting opportunity to join our excellent Business Department. We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Business Teacher to take on the role of Subject Leader of BTEC Level 3 Vocational Business (£2,808.01 annual allowance).
You will have a degree or equivalent in Business. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom, and will have the desire to be part of a successful teaching team and a willingness to contribute to new initiatives within the department.
You will ideally be able to demonstrate how you have worked collaboratively within a team to develop quality online and paper-based resources. You will also be committed to ensuring a consistent and quality experience for all students studying business programmes. The key aspects of the job are outlined in the College job description.
The Subject Leader role is reviewed every three years and is subject to the continuation or discontinuation by either the post holder or the College; the teaching role continues should the Subject Leader element be relinquished.
