Pearson Online Academy UK Global is a high-quality personalised online private school delivering Pearson Edexcel International GCSEs and A Levels for 14 to 18-year-olds that can be accessed virtually anywhere.
The School is designed to help students with diverse abilities and backgrounds thrive through an individualised instructional approach and flexible scheduling.
We inspire and empower our students to achieve academic excellence through our affordable, online education that prepares them for brilliant futures.
The School uses a flipped classroom style teaching methodology to increase student engagement and encourage critical thinking. Students work through interactive self-study materials to develop an understanding of subject content; this self-study is then followed by live teacher-led lessons in a virtual classroom. This approach enables students to work through materials independently at a time and pace that suits them, and the technology generates deep insights about their learning. Students are also supported by teachers in one-to-one online office hour consultations.
Students also engage in a selection of electives and extra-curricular activities, that can enable them to extend their learning through engaging projects, connect with other students from around the world, gain social confidence and to develop a range of skills.
