Chelsea Independent College requires an instructor for a class of ten Engineering & Computing students as part of our successful international academic summer programme. 

Dates: 16 July- 27 July 2018

Monday to Friday 9:30-1:45 pm 

Lunch is provided each day. 

The objective of the programme is to give students a theoretical and practical introduction to engineering and computing as a career pathway. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science and experience teaching with Arduino (robotics) and have JavaScript programming knowledge. 

Our summer students, aged 14-17, choose one of six subject pathways to study for a two week period. Engineering & Computing is a very popular pathway. Students study their pathway for four hours per day and have two hours of English study. 

The successful candidate will teach for two weeks: 16/07/2018- 27/07/2018 and should be available for training and preparation days in advance of the course starting. The training dates are flexible,depending on experience, but must fall in the period 29/06/2018- 13/06/2018.

Chelsea Independent College is an independent sixth form college offering a wide range of GCSE and A Levels.  Students are drawn from both the UK and internationally, with around 65% of students coming from 42 different countries. It also offers pre-A, International Foundation, and High School Term courses. Class sizes are on average 8 and capped at 10, and almost all students go on to Russell Group universities or the international equivalents thereof.
