Taunton School International (TSI) was set up in 1996 to provide a first step for international students from 40+ countries, wishing to complete their education in a British school. TSI runs Junior and Senior Summer Schools for a nine-week period in July and August; these are innovative, short-term courses that are attractive to a multitude of students and showcases the best that the School has to offer.

Teachers at TSI are student-focussed; their aim is to provide a safe, happy and respectful environment in which young people from different nationalities and cultures are nurtured, challenged and inspired to develop a love for learning and ambition to fulfil their own potential, as well as having fun and enjoying the experience that the Summer School brings.

We aspire to deliver exceptional every day, whilst creating a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can thrive and be celebrated. We are currently seeking talented and enthusiastic Teachers for a number of short term positions to support the Summer School provision; the roles available are as follows and are paid at £34.65 per hour:

 

·        Teacher of English (mornings only, 12.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday) – 1st July – 26th July)

·        Teacher of English (full time, 22.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday) – 19th August – 30th August

·        Teacher of Science (full time, 22.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday) – 29th July – 9th August

·        Teacher of Creativity & the Arts (full time, 22.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday) – 1st July – 12th July

·        Football Coach (afternoons only, 10 hours a week, working Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri) – 1st July – 9th August

Closing Date

The closing date for receipt of applications is Sunday 14th April 2024, however, please note that early applications are encouraged as they will be reviewed as received, and the vacancies may close early should a successful appointments be made. 

Interviews will take place the week commencing 22nd April 2024
