Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Support Lead (SEND). In this role, you will lead and coordinate support services for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring they receive tailored assistance that promotes their academic success and personal development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in SEND support or related educational roles.
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices within the UK education system.
- Leadership skills and ability to manage team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with students, parents, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to develop individualised support plans that meet diverse student needs.
- Competent in using relevant educational software and tools for monitoring progress.
-Understanding around target setting and the annual review process.

TMP was originally set up as a music school. We soon realised there was a demand for creative and performing arts in the local community and we listened to our students to understand what was needed and what TMP needed to become to meet local needs.
TMP College is now Wigan's biggest and most dedicated creative college for students 16+ years of age with a range of six creative subjects to choose from. We pride ourselves on our learners diversity, creativity and success in education, particularly if learners have previously had a negative experience in education.
TMP employs a team of friendly industry professionals & Educational Specialists with years of experience, knowledge and industry connections to provide you with the opportunity to guarantee your dream career.
