The Gateway Primary Free School is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our happy committed team to ensure the efficient and effective running of all non-teaching [support] services throughout the Gateway Primary Free School. You will be responsible for the day to day running of administration, communications, procurement, lettings, site, cleaning, grounds maintenance, catering, technical, and reprographics services. Working with the academy's leadership team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practises. This position will also interact with the Board of Directors as required.

This key role is crucial to our success and is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated individual who:

Has excellent organisation and strategic management skills with an ability to work at all levels;

Has the ability to build effective working relationships with governors, school staff, parents and the office team;

Has experience of working within a Primary School setting;

Has excellent communication skills and is a team player with a positive approach;

Is hard working and committed to continual improvement;

Has a good sense of humour.
