Role Overview:
As a Support Tutor (SEND), you will work closely with students requiring additional support, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals. You will provide one-to-one or small group assistance tailored to individual needs without following a specific curriculum.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting SEND students in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of various special educational needs and disabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with diverse learners
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively

TMP is an independent specialist college that delivers creative qualifications to learners age 16+. TMP was originally set up as a music school. We soon realised there was a demand for creative and performing arts in the local community and we listened to our students to understand what was needed and what TMP needed to become to meet local needs.

TMP College is now Wigan's biggest and most dedicated creative college for students 16+ years of age with a range of six creative subjects to choose from.  We pride ourselves on our learners diversity, creativity and success in education, particularly if learners have previously had a negative experience in education.

TMP employs a team of friendly industry professionals & Educational Specialists with years of experience, knowledge and industry connections to provide you with the opportunity to guarantee your dream career. Our courses are delivered across two purpose built centre with Music, Art & Design, Games Design, Media, Performing Arts & Dance designed especially for our courses.
