We currently have an exciting opportunity for a TA3 to join the staff of Prospect House Primary School with the responsibility for physical development and sensory support,  offering support to colleagues and pupils across school. 

The post holder will be expected to meet the job description and person specification for a TA3 who will work with senior leaders, pupils, parents, teachers, and external stakeholders, while playing a proactive role in developing exceptional provision for the delivery of physical development and sensory integration techniques and sensory circuit sessions.

The Teaching Assistants will be key workers for their cohort, basing themselves in class and supporting learning. The candidate will be a key point of contact for home and will work to provide full pastoral support for attendance, behaviour, welfare and personal development.

The role is full time, term-time only, plus five additional training days. The starting annual salary is £19,736  based on 39 working weeks. The full time equivalent is £23,023.

About Prospect House Primary Specialist Support School

Prospect House is a new free special primary school in Higher Blackley, North Manchester. The school is the first school in the Trust to be open north of the city offering places for children with very significant learning needs and other associated additional needs, aged 3 – 11 years old. The brand new purpose built site offers specialist facilities including a state-of-the-art hydropool including changing room to pool hoisting, ASC friendly classrooms and corridors, Food Technology Room, Library, Immersive Learning Room, Sensory Regulation Room, Parent Room, Pets as Therapy Dogs (Alfie and Ovie) and two KuneKune Pigs (Sebastian and Dolores).
