Job overview

Talent Acquisition Partner - Initial Teacher Education

Location: Hybrid - remote working and London (183 Eversholt Street, London NW1 1BU)

Hours: 37

Salary: £45,000

Are you an ambitious, talent acquisition professional who prides themselves on their ability to deliver the right people, in the right place, at the right time?

AET is one of the largest academy trusts in the country, with a network of primary, secondary and special schools spanning nearly every region in the country.

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the organisation, and as we pivot from turnaround mode to becoming a high performance organisation on the pathway to sustainable excellence.

Our people are our single greatest resource and we want to make sure we are creating the optimum environment and conditions so that everyone in AET can do their very best work. We will only deliver on our promise of excellence for all of our children if we attract, develop and retain the very best talent in the country and surround them with exceptional development throughout their careers.

This is where you come in.  You would be our first dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will manage the end to end recruitment process for our AETs Teacher training programme. You will have a team of recruiters in place to support.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and impress in an influential role.  We’re looking for someone who has already got a proven track record of working in a fast paced, volume driven recruitment environment, ideally within Education and initial teacher training. In addition, you will have a sound knowledge of the graduate and career changers recruitment market.  You will be confident to challenge the status quo, as well as the ability to coach others, harness creativity and network effectively.

If you can talk to us about your passion for recruiting, your demonstrable impact - we’d love to hear from you.

In return we offer:

  • More training and development, so you can get better at what you do.
  • More support for you and your loved ones - a health cash plan, lifestyle savings discounts, employee loans and savings scheme, and employee assistance programme.
  • More technology so you can have greater impact.

Closing Date: Friday 8 April 2022

Interviews will take place shortly after the closing date.

If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact Ben Lowe on 07741 194677 or email recruitment@academiesenterprisetrust.org.

All candidates are advised to refer to the job description and person specification before making an application.

In line with our safeguarding practices we are unable to accept CVs. Apply today by clicking the “Apply Now” Button.

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate will be required for all posts. This post will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our Prevent Duty.

AET was established in 2008 and is now a national network of 57 primary, secondary and special academies. We are proud of our diverse and inclusive network of schools which span nearly every region in the country.

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining the organisation, and as we pivot from being in turnaround mode to becoming a high performance organisation on the pathway to sustainable excellence. This will see us building our in-house education improvement capacity and expertise, making sure that our schools have all the support they need to deliver an excellent education for every child, every day.

We want people on our team who are excited by scale and the prospect of having a deep and lasting impact on the lives of tens of thousands of children. We also want people who are intellectually rigorous, stay curious, and generous enough to be committed to the messy challenge of collaboration.

AET has an exciting future ahead and by joining us on this journey, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to make a lasting and meaningful impact on the children and young people in our schools.
