Genesis Education Trust is an expanding collection of outstanding and good schools in East London with a fantastic track record of training and progression opportunities for NQTs and more experienced teachers. We are looking for ambitious and dedicated staff to join in our expansion, to work at St Mary’s or St Saviour’s in Walthamstow. We can offer a strong team, first class training (St Mary’s C of E is a Teaching School), dedicated and professional colleagues and rapid progression.

St Mary’s is 3-form entry and is graded outstanding by Ofsted.  St Saviour’s is 2-form entry and is graded as good, with outstanding features.    We are looking for experienced teachers to join us therefore if you are joining us as a 2nd/3rd year teacher or beyond, we will be keen to find out how best we can work with you so that you feel supported, inspired and a key part of the team.

We have many structures in place to support 2nd/3rd year teachers and those aspiring to leadership. There is a strong career pathway for leadership and opportunity to work across the 3 schools within Genesis Education Trust.  We are keen to build specialist leaders of Education with provision for outreach work.  Our 2nd/3rd year teachers and leaders tell us that they have access to first quality training and mentoring which enables them to enhance their practice very quickly and that there are opportunities to develop as a leader should they wish to do so.  We would also like to draw on your experience with a 2B TLR specialising in maths or literacy.  There will also be Recruitment and Retention available for exceptional candidates.

If you are interested in joining our team, it would be great if you could come and visit us prior to application.  You can visit St Mary’s C of E or St Saviour’s C of E in Walthamstow– whichever is more convenient for you.    Please contact Mrs Heather Fleetwood (contact details below) and let us know the dates and times when you can visit. We look forward to hearing from you!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo Child Protection screening, including checks with past employers and the DBS.

References will be taken up before interviews are offered.
