Position Information 

Bligh Park Public School is a NSW Department of Education (DoE) primary school situated on the land of the Darug People. The school is part of the Windsor Principal Network in the Regional North Operational Directorate. Bligh Park Public School has 22 teaching staff and an enrolment of 320 students, 49 of whom identify as Aboriginal. There are 12 mainstream classes and 5 support classes. The school is supported by the P&C and enjoys strong partnerships with the community. Bligh Park Public School provides opportunities in the performing arts and has a proud sporting history. The school promotes lifelong learning and students are taught to be safe, respectful and responsible learners.

 

  
Specific Selection Criteria 

Approval to teach infants and primary (K-6) and a demonstrated ability to effectively integrate evidence-based practice to develop and deliver high-quality literacy and numeracy programs.

Evidence of strong classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to cater for students from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Outstanding communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with the capacity to develop positive and collaborative partnerships with students, staff, families and the wider community.

Willingness and capacity to coordinate and implement whole school extra-curricular activities which may include student leadership and sport.

  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

 

From 8 November 2021 all Department of Education employees undertaking relevant work, including any work conducted on a NSW school site, will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
