Job overview
Riverwalk School is going places and we are looking for some amazing teachers to take our pupils to the next stage of the journey. We are moving to a larger and more exciting building and our pupils are moving to the next stage of their lives. We are looking for two teachers - one initially to work with Post-16 at our Riverwalk College site and one to work in Key Stage 2 on the current main school site. Additionally, we anticipate an increase in pupil numbers in September 2017 and would like to recruit a teacher to help us plan for the future.
You need to; not only have a real empathy for the students with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, but be ready to work with us to develop a building to deliver our new approach to curriculum. This includes a research project with Anglia Ruskin University enhancing learning through the arts. If you have an interest in PSHE we would be extremely interested in hearing from you.
