Hours per Week: 0.5 FTE
We require a qualified, enthusiastic and skilled teacher to teach Chemistry and general science at our Pendleton Centre on BTEC and Access to Higher Education courses. The successful applicant must possess the ability to teach students of mixed abilities, most of whom choose to pursue science subjects at university. We are seeking someone with excellent subject knowledge and can demonstrate an ability to combine a strong classroom presence with excellent student achievement. The ability to teach Chemistry at Level 3 is essential, and the ability to offer another science subject at Level 3 would be an advantage. The successful candidate must be student focused, possess a relevant subject degree and have an appropriate teaching qualification.
