An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher of Hospitality and Catering/Food to join our busy and expanding DT/Food department. The successful applicant should be aspirational, creative, innovative in their approach and have a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing a passion for technology through their teaching and learning experiences. The department is exceptionally well resourced and all lessons are supported by technicians.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, confident and have experience of teaching across the Key Stages. They should be keen to develop existing modules of work to promote student participation, progress and attainment and to realise aspirational progress for all. The successful candidate should be familiar with the GCSE specification and should be able to teach general Design and Technology/Product Design at KS3; there may also be the opportunity to teach within other areas of Design and Technology.
