Facilities

St Joseph’s caters for four multi-age classes. It features a large hall, a learning centre, a well-resourced library and a large covered multi-purpose outdoor learning area. Excellent technology resources are available for all students in each of the learning environments within the school and all classrooms have been recently refurbished and are fully air conditioned. The playground features numerous covered shade areas with tree-lined, grass playing areas and there is an amphitheatre and adventure playground.

Curriculum

As a faith community, a comprehensive, Religious Education Program features strongly within the school’s overall curriculum. In association with this there is a well-balanced curriculum drawn for the six key learning areas of the NSW Board of Studies Syllabuses. Whilst there is a strong focus on the investing of foundation skills in Literacy and Numeracy, the school also strongly encourages high levels of critical thinking, creativity, higher order thinking, problem solving and collaboration as the students engage with the teaching and learning processes initiated and directed by the dedicated teaching staff.

School ethos

St Joseph’s Primary School aims to provide a quality education in an environment that supports the welfare of all and that promotes strong Christian values, faith development and family involvement, in each aspect of school life.
