The school seeks to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to deliver and oversee the academic computing and IT curriculum, which is currently taught at Key Stage 3 and being introduced at IGCSE level, and also to promote pupils’ engagement with and enjoyment of the subject beyond the classroom.
The successful applicant will be able to teach IT and computing across the key stages, and for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate the post of head of computing with some responsibility for digital learning and strategy throughout the school may be available.
The ability to teach another subject which is part of our curriculum is not expected but may be an advantage.
