RNIB Sunshine House School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic class teacher. 

This school for children who are blind or partially sighted with complex learning difficulties and physical needs is set in a beautiful location with a wide range of specialist resources. It works in alliance with The Eden Academy, benefitting from the academy’s extensive expertise in special educational needs and working as part of a family of schools delivering exceptional educational and therapeutic standards. 

The school is currently at an exciting stage in its development. You could help shape its future.

The ability to lead, develop and inspire a class team and to work within a multidisciplinary setting is essential. A teacher with a qualification of the visually impaired (QTVI) or multi-Sensory Impaired (QTMSI) is desirable although not essential. 

It is the perfect role for a practitioner who is passionate about holistic, pupil-centred provision and committed to continual development of their practice.
