The purpose of this role is to teach to a high standard within the School of Maths, Additional Learning Support and English to ensure appropriate support is in place to promote students’ independence as learners.
The post holder will have proven expertise in teaching and supporting students with LLN difficulties on courses at Level 1, 2 and 3 and will also be able to develop study skills. The post involves assessing and working with students to improve their LLN skills, both written and spoken; advising subject tutors on in-class support strategies and working collaboratively with Tutors and Learning Support Assistants across the college.
