The Governors of this highly successful and over-subscribed mixed 11-18 Specialist Science College are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and exceptional teacher to the above role.

St Gregory’s has been identified by OFSTED as a good school with outstanding Behaviour and Outstanding Leadership and Management; by the DfE as a Lead Behaviour School and by the SSAT as a High Attaining School. In 2016 81% of our pupils achieved 5 A*-C grades including English and Mathematics; whilst at A2 91% of our students achieved A*-C grades and 61% achieved A*-B grades.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified Economics specialist (the department currently offers both subjects to students at GCSE, AS and A2 level). The successful candidate will also be a person with ideas, drive for excellence and very good teaching skills.

The school is firmly committed to CPD and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. All staff will be required to have a DBS check. A respect for the Catholic ethos of the school is essential.
