We require a full-time, well-qualified and innovative teacher to lead Photography and teach Art from September 2018.
The department offers a vibrant programme of fine art, print making, ceramics, sculpture and photography and achieves 100% A-C pass rate at A level and GCSE. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate an inspiring and effective teaching style and to have excellent subject knowledge of photography and art.
The department is equipped with high quality cameras and accessories, professional grade printer, darkroom and a dedicated studio shared with Fine Art.
A strong honours degree and a teaching qualification are required along with relevant work experience. Skills in both digital and darkroom photography are desirable. This position could suit either an NQT or an experienced teacher. The photography aspect may be considered as a stand-alone part-time position.
