We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinking teacher in Graphic Design to join our large, vibrant and growing Art & Design faculty. Based in our purpose-built Centre for Creative Industries, you will teach across our Extended Diploma provision, supporting students to develop as confident, independent and ambitious creative practitioners.

You will join a high-performing, collaborative team with a strong focus on student experience and outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic curriculum and help shape the progression of students into higher education and the creative industries.

We’re looking for someone who’s…

Positive, supportive and passionate about graphic design and visual communication 

A strong communicator, able to build positive relationships with students and colleagues 

Well organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities 

Experienced in teaching at post-compulsory level 

Confident in delivering the digital aspects of Graphic Design, including industry-standard software and workflows 

Open to supporting students working in illustration and related creative disciplines 

Qualified to degree level or with strong industry experience 

Ideally holds a teaching qualification, or is willing to work towards one 

Keen to contribute to a collaborative and creative team environment

Teaching Graphic Design on the Extended Diploma 

Supporting students to develop digital skills, creative thinking and personal direction 

Delivering projects that reflect contemporary design practice, including digital and screen-based outcomes 

Supporting illustration-based approaches where appropriate 

Contributing to curriculum development and bringing fresh, industry-informed ideas 

Providing pastoral support and helping students to achieve their potential 

Supporting recruitment activity and promoting courses 

Working as part of an experienced team to deliver a growing and ambitious provision 

Sharing best practice and contributing to continuous improvement across the faculty
