The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of Health & Social Care/Childcare provision within the college. We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience within the sector who can bring their knowledge and passion with a strong desire to teach and support young people to develop career options is essential. Teaching or training experience is required and this can be from within the sector or in an educational environment.

Our hourly paid teaching staff are employed on flexible-hours contracts which are designed to enable the College to respond to fluctuating business demands. This means that the level of teaching hours you will be required to work will vary and may do so on a week to week and month to month basis.

Northampton College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Northamptonshire. It is a 16-plus institution with three campuses: a major building at its main Northampton site, a smaller campus near the town centre and another 20 miles away in Daventry. It provides places for around 9,000 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18.

Northampton College was opened in 1973. It merged with Daventry Tertiary College to expand its Daventry campus in August 2004, and its Booth Lane campus reopened after a large redevelopment in 2012.
