The Role
The purpose of this role is to plan and teach on agreed programmes (GCSE, Functional Skills, potentially Access) and to contribute to their continued development.
The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
• English and Maths at GCES grade C or above, or equivalent level 2 qualification
• Proven ability to teach Maths at a range of levels.
• A relevant qualification at Level 4 or above/ degree level or an equivalent qualification in a vocational area.

Northampton College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college situated in Northamptonshire. It is a 16-plus institution with three campuses: a major building at its main Northampton site, a smaller campus near the town centre and another 20 miles away in Daventry. It provides places for around 9,000 students aged 16 and over, most of whom are full-time and aged 16-18.
Northampton College was opened in 1973. It merged with Daventry Tertiary College to expand its Daventry campus in August 2004, and its Booth Lane campus reopened after a large redevelopment in 2012.
