Teacher / Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery
Immediate start date
37 hours per week (or part time/fulltime opportunities available)
- £24,514- £25,990 pro rata per annum (Unqualified) or £26,767- £31,022 pro rata per annum (Qualified)
Up to £33,890 + Market forces payment options could be accessible for a fully qualified, suitably experienced/exceptional candidates. This can be discussed at interview.
As a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of students, by providing them with the skills, knowledge and training required to enable them to achieve their goals; while ensuring the economic development and success of Construction industries.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated person, who is enthusiastic about working with young people, adults and employers, with a passion for Construction.

As a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery, you should currently hold:
- Vocational Qualification / Advanced Craft Certificate NVQ 3 or equivalent
- GCSE A* - C in Maths and English qualifications (Grades 9 - 4) or equivalent
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working with 16-18 year olds, ideally in a teaching capacity
- Experience of teaching Construction related subjects
- Relevant work experience
