Job overview

Are you ready for the next step …?

We are looking for talented professionals to join our team and work within our primary schools. Our schools currently have vacancies for NQTs and experienced teachers from September 2018.

  • Hillcrest Academy was the first school to join The GORSE Academies Trust in January 2014 as an inadequate school; it was judged to be outstanding in all areas in September 2016. Ofsted recognised that: ‘the impact of The GORSE Academies Trust in transforming a long-standing legacy of underachievement had been remarkable.’
  • Morley Newlands Academy joined The GORSE Academies Trust in March 2015; it was judged to be outstanding in all areas in January 2018; another remarkable achievement!
  • Ryecroft Academy joined The GORSE Academies Trust in May 2015. In May 2017 it was judged to ‘require improvement.’ Following a change in leadership, the school is now significantly improving.
  • Richmond Hill Academy joined The GORSE Academies Trust in November 2017 as is already rapidly improving!

The GORSE Academies Trust has an increasingly well-known reputation for changing the deal for children and young adults who come from some of the most impoverished parts of the country. Our central mission is to ensure that our children receive an outstanding education that focuses on aspiration, high expectations and personalisation.

Do you want to be part of our team and make a real difference to the lives of children in Leeds? Our children are wonderful and deserve the very best!
