If you would like to build a career that gives you genuine sense of achievement and fulfilment knowing that you can have a positive impact on the young people we support, then look no further and apply today!

Sketchley Hall School are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our Teaching team!

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils.

The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.

Our benefits include exclusive access to reward and discount scheme, comprehensive induction, commitment to your ongoing training and career progression, Teacher pension scheme, paid for enhanced DBS, wellbeing support, cycle to work scheme and more!

We are an independent school based across three sites Leicestershire. Our students all have autism and/or associated conditions. Our class sizes are extremely small, with no more than 5 children in one classroom and high ratios of staff support (many learners receive 1:1 support from a designated Teaching Assistant). Our Sketchley Hall site in Burbage welcomes learners from school Year 3 to Year 9.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of young people. We currently have a range of teaching staff (both qualified and unqualified teachers) who contribute to our ethos of being safe, being respectful and being kind through working together, caring and understanding each other and our young people. As such, we want someone who is passionate about working with young people and who can be professional, proactive and positive.

Working at Sketchley School means you can join a team which is on a journey of growth and positivity. As such, you will be joining a team of staff who have a shared ethos of wanting to help and support young people. Staff joining our team can expect high levels of support both in terms of the day-to-day role and career development, with opportunities for weekly CPD and wider qualifications/learning and development which we are very happy to enable and support staff in working towards.

Qualified teachers can expect to be paid in-line with the Teacher Main Scale and Unqualified Teachers on the nationally-published UQT scale.

What to do next:

We strongly believe in developing our own talent and growing our teachers into successful middle and senior leaders.

If you want to progress your career in Education, Aspris Children’s Services will help you get there.

Sketchley School provides specialist support for both boys and girls aged 8 to 19 years who are on the autistic spectrum, who may also have challenging behaviour, as a result of their communication difficulties and a lack of social understanding.

Located in the quiet villages of Sketchley in Leicestershire the school has excellent links with the M69/M6/M1 motorways and Hinckley train station. We offer a safe and structured environment within mature private grounds for young people to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and make real life choices as they reach adulthood.
