Holy Spirit Primary School has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy with a commitment to engaging students of all ability levels. The school balances its formal curriculum with an emphasis on growth mindset, inquiry learning, the Arts and creative thinking. The authentic integration of ICT into our curriculum is seen as a priority, with iPads in all classroom and a BYO iPad program in Years 5 & 6.

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher Librarian to join our dynamic and welcoming community.This role will support and implement the vision of the school by advocating and building effective information services and programs which contribute to the development of lifelong learners and ethical, digital citizens. The successful applicant will have an understanding of Inquiry Learning and collaborative teaching practices, and have the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and parents. The successful applicant will also have effective skills in information and communication technology, and have the capacity to work with others to ensure equitable access of resources across the school community.

To be successful in this role, you will have an appropriate combined teaching and librarianship/information management qualification. A qualified teacher may be considered if they are in the process of obtaining the additional qualification or have a strong background in literacy and inquiry learning.
