We are seeking a Teacher/Librarian who can prioritise high quality learning and teaching, reposition our library from a repository of books, to ‘learning commons’ that invites all members of the community to collaborate, communicate, co-create and share.
To be successful in this role applicants will possess the ability to provide flexible learning spaces that support individual, class, group learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration to empower active learning through space, pedagogy and technology.
The successful applicant will be able to adopt a design-thinking mindset to re-frame services offered, create transformative solutions, embrace new models and practices informed and guided by research, evidence and professional judgement.
The successful applicant will be a team player, be able to work independently and have the ability to strategically grow and lead a team of information professionals that support and are responsive to the needs of the school community.
The position involves processing and managing of library resources and routines, and class library lessons to release teachers. Applicants are required to address these points in their online application.

- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
