Job overview

Hope Wood Academy is an all age special academy in Easington, Co Durham. It is part of the Ascent Academies Trust, which comprises five special academies in the North East. As part of the staff team you will play a key role in the achievement and development of students.

We are seeking to appoint a skilled practitioner, with a track record of good or outstanding teaching in a similar context. Candidates will possess the ability to share their practice, work with a positive and optimistic outlook and drive forward improvements. Experience of working in special education or in a setting with children who have SEN is essential. NQTs are welcome to apply.
