Lockerbie Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in the town of Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is a state school. Smaller than average for a school of its type, the school’s latest handbook identifies a school roll of 700 secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18.

Lockerbie Academy started out as Dryfesdale Public School in 1903 in a building first established in October 1875. Work on the new school started in 1957 and by 1962, the school as we know it today became a four year school, before expanding to six years in 1964. The most recent expansion was in 2010, when a new campus was opened.
