About the role:

You will be teaching A-level French within the Modern Foreign Languages Department at City and Islington Sixth Form College. You will be part of a team of 7 staff and, as well as French, the Department offers A-level Spanish, Italian, German and Turkish. You will be working in a supportive and friendly environment.

We are looking for an outstanding teacher with high expectations of students. You will have successful experience of teaching A-level French and be enthusiastic, innovative and care about students. 

About us:

City & Islington College is a successful further education college based in the London Borough of Islington, delivering a wide range of academic and vocational courses. The college has five centres and enrols over 11,000 students, including 4,500 16–18-year-olds. 

We are situated on one site at the Angel in the heart of London and our wonderful students travel from across the capital to learn with us. All teachers are tutors to a pastoral group of up to 22 A-level students and we have a wide range of enrichment and extension activities to develop our students’ confidence and skills.
