Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, imaginative and innovative teacher to join our successful History department based at our English Bridge campus. History is a popular Humanities subject in the college and there are currently 120 first year students following the Edexcel Route H specification. The subject is currently taught by 4 teachers and is well resourced with an extensive range of materials (including an intranet site) that are constantly being adapted and updated. We are keen to recruit an individiual with the drive, passion and sense of team work that will help further improve our excellent results. The post is open to any suitable applicant, including newly-qualified teachers. To apply you should possess a teaching qualification and a relevant degree. Recent experience of teaching History at A-Level is an advantage but not essential. Please indicate if you are able to offer an additional subject.
