London's leading College is looking for an exceptional Psychology Teacher to join the Social Science team.

About the role:

We are looking for a Teacher of Psychology, to join our team at City and Islington Sixth Form College. Your primary responsibility will be to teach A Level students, be a Personal Tutor, and contribute to the varied teaching strategies and share good practice with members of the Social Science Department.

About you:

You will hold an Honours Degree in either Psychology and have relevant experience in teaching these subjects to 16–19-year-olds at level 3. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a recognised teaching qualification. You will be able to maintain, and have experience of professional and quality standards, and have good organisational skills.

Located in the London Borough of Islington, City and Islington College (otherwise known as Candi) is a further education college with students aged 14 and over. The college was first established in 1993, following a merger of four institutions in the local area. As a result, the college has over 12,000 students of all types in attendance. In reflection of the local community, and student body at Candi is extremely diverse, with a large number of different cultures and faiths represented.
