As the centre enters an exciting period of growth and development, it is looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people.

We are looking for a Teacher of Applied Science to join us on a full-time until June 2021.

As part of this role you will deliver specific programmes in line with the college’s aims and objectives for this area’s curriculum plan. You will work closely with management, colleagues and students to ensure success for both college and students. You will contribute to the development and delivery of our Science academic provision and related disciplines including associated academic operational responsibilities to ensure an excellent experience for our students. 

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in science to help shape the future of Cadbury College. Not only will you be leading tutorship on the course and sharing your experience and knowledge but you always be creating opportunities for students, including work experience. You will be motivated and have great interpersonal skills and an ability to engage, motivate and support mixed ability learners.

An academic background in science would be preferred, along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). You will be enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring students with your knowledge of science. Experience of teaching GCSE Science and Level 3 Btec in Applied Science would be preferred. Experience of setting up or running a Science programme would be a distinct advantage.

The ability to teach a second subject would be desirable as we are always looking for individuals who can share their knowledge and experience across the college, with both colleagues and students.
