We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our dedicated and hard-working team at The Chalfonts Independent Grammar school in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire. The Chalfonts is a fully accredited Co-educational International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) for students from 11 to 18 year old.The IB programme aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge – students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
We guide our pupils to be bold, imaginative and reflective young people, well-rounded characters with resilient, independent minds, well placed to thrive in every walk of life.
The relatively small size of our school means that our students experience a highly personalised learning environment, small class sizes (our maximum class size is 14) and the security of being part of a tightly knit community. Our small size also enables the teachers to know all students as individuals and ensure that each student is supported and encouraged to reach their individual potential. We are a learning community committed to excellence in all that we do, to achieve the best possible outcome for all our students.
The successful candidate will join a thriving and dynamic team and be well qualified to teach Art & Design. The appointed individual will be passionate about their field, and will inspire enjoyment of their subject whilst striving to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. You will benefit from small class sizes, IB training and excellent professional development in a supportive environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach the renowned International Baccalaureate programme in a recognised IB World School.
Closing date: 12.00pm on Wednesday 20th June 2018
