Job overview
An outstanding teacher of Art & Design is required from September 2019. The Department is very successful, and the School has a long-standing record of high academic achievement (87% of A Level and Pre U entries gained A* to B/D1-M1 grades in 2018) and there is also much happening in terms of extra-curricular activities. We expect all staff to be fully involved in School life. The post is for a September or January start.
The post will involve teaching Art & Design from Y6 to Y13. The post would be suitable for an NQT (we provide statutory induction) or a colleague with more experience who is capable of making a significant contribution towards the Department’s skills and specialisms.
The School occupies fine, modern buildings near St. Paul’s Cathedral overlooking the Thames, opposite the Tate Modern as well as owning impressive Off-Site Sports Facilities in South East London.
Salary will be paid on the CLS scale (£34, 120 -£59, 650 pa 2018-2019).

About City of London School
City of London School is an independent school based in London for boys aged 10-18.
The school site is situated by the Thames. It has over 20 acres of sports pitches. It was established in 1834 and moved to its present site in 1986. The school is governed by a board and by the City of London Corporation, which appoints its governors.
