Swans International School, Marbella, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Teacher of Art from January 2023, to join our dedicated and talented team. 

We are seeking a creative Art Teacher with a positive outlook, and a passion to assist learners to reach their potential. Candidates should have a degree in Art and Design, or fine art, painting or printmaking and have experience of teaching (I)GCSE Art and Design. Specialists in fine art painting and print-making would be preferred, as well as good knowledge of digital photography techniques, Photoshop and/or other software, to assist in expanding our art department in this creative field. 

Experience of teaching IB Visual Arts or A Level Art would be desirable but not essential. Successful applicants will have a proven track record of providing a stimulating learning environment that engages all students to raise their attainment and inspires them with a love of learning. 

The ideal candidate would also be able to offer Music in Key Stage 3 (or up to (I)GCSE), but candidates without experience in Music should also apply. 

This role could be either on a short-term contract until the end of the academic year or a long-term role.

Requirements:

EU passport or Spanish residency (although UK applicants are free to apply)

PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education

A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check

A full 5 year reference check
