About Us

Wembley High Technology College is one of the highest performing schools in the country. Nationally, the achievement of our pupils is exceptional; in 2019, our Progress 8 score of +1.57 has been recognised as the 4th highest in the country by the Department for Education. This progress from Key Stage 2 to GCSE has a transformative impact on our pupils’ life chances and last year, over 50% of pupils leaving us went on to Russell Group Universities to study a range of academic subjects. In September 2020, Wembley High will also be welcoming pupils from North Brent School in Year 7 for two years while their new £27 million building is completed. The Art, Design and Technology Department

We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department and teach across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. In KS3 students study all aspects of Art, Design and Technology in engaging projects which mirror the artistic or design development process. At GCSE, Art and Photography are highly popular options subjects and results at both GCSE and A-level are excellent. In 2019 100% of students achieved grades 9 – 5 at GCSE and 48% of students achieved grades 9 – 7. At A-level, 100% of students achieved grades A* – A.
