Are you an inspiring and enthusiastic teacher who would like to play a key role in a flourishing and successful department, highly regarded both within the School and within London and recognised as a centre of excellence?

You must be an accomplished artist, working in any appropriate medium and with high levels of skills in drawing and painting. You should be aware of contemporary practice, be able to motivate pupils on all levels and be assured enough to deal with some very talented students.  

You will need to be highly organised to work in a large and busy department, work co-operatively within a team and will be expected to enthusiastically commit to the many activities which involve the department beyond the timetable.  

Currently there are six full-time specialist teachers including the Head of Department, and a full-time technician.

We offer a generous teaching pay scale, significantly above that of the maintained sector.
