Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover)

A fantastic opening for a KS3 art teacher to enthuse and support students. The department puts an emphasis on drawing, but aims to offer a creative range for lower school students. A knowledge of Adobe packages may be beneficial as there will be opportunities to work with sixth form graphics and photography students.
The department is a well-established, successful and closely run team who pride themselves on the diversity and quality of students’ work. We have four teaching staff, all specialists in their field from photography, fine art and design. Although the department is housed within a purpose-built building containing, gallery, darkroom, computer suite and kilns, the successful candidate would have to be comfortable working in the individually sited lower-school art room.
