Our art department is renowned for producing a diverse range of innovative work. The top floor of our revolutionary John Turner building is home to the art department’s classrooms, flooded with natural daylight and exceptional facilities covering photography, ceramics, sculpting, drawing, fine art and much more.
This is a superb opportunity for someone who is creative and inspirational, has evidence of outstanding teaching and learning and a desire to ensure students reach their full potential. You will have a passion for teaching and learning, strong subject knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of ceramic sculpting would be an advantage. NQTs are welcome to apply alongside those with more experience. NQTs will be supported by a mentor and a ‘buddy’.
The successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to become involved with the busy and varied co-curricular programme available to students. Shiplake has its own salary scale. Accommodation may be available onsite.
